About Lisa

The studio pictured here is my new home studio. Up until May 2020 I worked as an Early Intervention provider, but am now a full time potter and a new grandmother. I live with my husband of over 35 years, in rural SE Pennsylvania.

My wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery is functional for home and garden. My pieces imbue images of Caribbean oceans, floral gardens, and happiness, while bathing the eye in color and the hand in sensation. I work in a variety of cone 6 clay bodies because each offers gifts in size, texture and color, responding to my hands and glazes in unique ways. My sculptural work is whimsical and fun, including gnomes, mermaids, and yoga frogs. Inspiration and humor come from my life experiences, but each piece will tell a different story to the observer, making them unique and personal.

I'm always making, so keep checking in, follow me on facebook and instagram to see new items and process videos. My Etsy shop periodically has items with free shipping www.etsy.com/shop/potterybylwb. I love to hear from pottery enthusiasts, so don't hesitate to contact me with questions or requests, and remember that local pick up is always available.
