Platter - Spring Fever

Spectacular 13.5” platter with a wonderful wash of pastel colors, turquoise, light green, purple, bright green, blue, brown, all interwoven and undulating. Glaze is poured and hand painted to achieve the unique and free flowing layering. The rim is hand carved. Glaze application for the rim started with a black stain which was wiped off, to accentuate the carving once the turquoise glaze was applied.
